Good news for all you “Service Management” users out there. Full Visual Drag and Drop Scheduling is now available for NAV’s Service Management. In the latest release of PlannerOne Resource Planner (V4.0), you now have the ability to schedule your Service Orders on a Resource Gantt Chart. This new feature works great with Microsoft Dynamics NAV’s Service Management and allows you to schedule your Service Order Lines for each Resource that you Budget.
More Good News: You are able to schedule both Planning Lines from Jobs and Service Order lines from Service Orders to the same resources in Resource Planner’ Gantt Chart. So, it doesn’t matter if the employee is working on a Job or on a Service Call, you can now schedule both in one easy to use view.
Resource Planner opens up Scheduling for the Service Industry. To get you started, the following video will walk you through the steps of creating a new Service Order and scheduling the Service Order Lines to available resources by dragging and dropping within the Gantt chart in Resource Planner.
